Another Mouth To Feed Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGHGHIJIJ KFKFLMLMNONOPFPF

We've got another mouth to feedA
From out our little storeB
To satisfy another's needA
Is now my daily choreB
A growing family is oursC
Beyond the slightest doubtD
It takes all my financial powersC
To keep them looking stoutD
With us another makes his bowE
To breakfast dine and supF
Our little circle's larger nowE
For Buddy's got a pupF
If I am frayed about the heelsG
And both my elbows shineH
And if my overcoat revealsG
The poverty that's mineH
'Tis not because I squander goldI
In folly's reckless wayJ
The cost of foodstuffs be it toldI
Takes all my weekly payJ
'Tis putting food on empty platesK
That eats my wages upF
And now another mouth awaitsK
For Buddy's got a pupF
And yet I gladly stand the strainL
And count the task worth whileM
Nor will I dismally complainL
While Buddy wears a smileM
What's one mouth more at any boardN
Though costly be the fareO
The poorest of us can affordN
His frugal meal to shareO
And so bring on the extra plateP
He will not need a cupF
And gladly will I pay the freightP
Now Buddy's got a pupF
