There are times a woman's love | B |
Fer a man stands out I guess | C |
More n usual like as when | D |
Sickness comes or else distress | C |
But I reckon that it shines | E |
Brighter than a taller dip | F |
When a man is goin' away | G |
An' she comes t' pack his grip | F |
- | |
'Pears t' me she seems t' think | H |
More about his comforts then | D |
Puts in slippers jes' as though | I |
They were worn by traveling men | D |
Fusses round an' round th' room | J |
Hopin' maybe that she'll see | K |
Somethin' that perhaps he'll need | L |
Jes' as thoughtful as can be | K |
- | |
Packs in heavy underwear | M |
Fearin' that it may get cold | N |
It is most remarkable | O |
What a common grip will hold | N |
When a woman fills it up | P |
Things fer sunshine an' fer rain | Q |
Pills fer every kind of ills | R |
Liniment fer every pain | Q |
- | |
Seen her pack that grip o' mine | S |
Hundred times I guess an' more | T |
Heard her sigh while doin' it | U |
Kneelin' on th' bedroom floor | T |
An' I never went away | G |
On the shortest kind o' trip | F |
Without feelin' that her heart | V |
Had been packed inside my grip | F |
