The Sleeping Land Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCD EBFGH IJFKL

Silent as a standing poolA
Our land goes to sleepB
No sounds not even by the sheepB
All you can hearC
Knocking on the door is fearD
-
The once noisy landE
Falls into sleepless sleepB
From the liquor of an evil strangerF
The uninvited guest who usurped controlG
From a tired and helpless hostH
-
Now the anxiety in our heartI
Speaks louder than the fear at the doorJ
Mr StrangerF
What do we offer youK
Please tell us when will you goL
