Pax Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABC DDEF GHFI JFKH

Once in my nocturnal dreamA
I strolled along a quiet streamA
There I beheld the cat and the mouseB
In a warm embraceC
-
In utmost amazement I went my wayD
A few miles awayD
A nuptial procession approachedE
With wolf and sheep in bridal apparelF
-
Homeward I ran to tell the taleG
There on a nearby pastureH
Was a lion grazing with the cattleF
In high spiritsI
-
But in my compoundJ
Were two men in a squabbleF
If the lion eats grassK
Man why bite your neighborH
