The Forgers Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEFFGGDDHHIJJ EEDGGIIEJEKKLAAMMKKH HEENNDDEEGEGJJ

IN the smithy it beganA
Let's make something for a manA
Hear the bellows belch and roarB
Splashing light on roof and floorB
From their nest the feathery sparksC
Fly like little golden larksC
Hear each forger's taunting yellD
Tell tell tell tellD
Tell us what we make my masterE
Hear the tenor hammers soundF
Ring a round ring a roundF
Hear the treble hammers singG
Ding a ring ding a ringG
Hear the forger's taunting yellD
Tell tell tell tellD
Though the guess be right or wrongH
You must wear it all life longH
How it glows as it growsI
Ding a ring a derry downJ
Into something is't a crownJ
Hear them half in death with laughterE
Shaking soot from roof and rafterE
Tell tell tell tellD
Ding a ring ding a ringG
See them round the royal thingG
See it fade to ruby roseI
As it glows and growsI
Guess they shout for worse or betterE
Not a crownJ
Is't a fetterE
Hear them shout demonic mirthK
Here's a guesser something worthK
Make it solid round and fineL
Fashioned on a cunning planA
For the riddle reader ManA
Ho ho ho hoM
Hear the bellows heave and blowM
Heat dries up their tears of mirthK
Let the marvel come to birthK
Though his guess be right or wrongH
He must wear it all life longH
Sullen flakes of golden fireE
Fawn about the dimming choirE
They're a dusky pack of thievesN
Shaking rubies from their sleevesN
Hear them wield their vaunting yellD
Tell tell tell tellD
Forging faster taunting fasterE
Guess my master Guess my masterE
Grows the enigmatic thingG
Ruddy joyance Deep disasterE
Ding a ring ding a ringG
Ding a ring a derry downJ
Is't a fetter Is't a crownJ
