Rain And The Robin Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACBDACEFEDEDECGBEH EEHEHH

A ROBIN in the morningA
In the morning earlyB
Sang a song of warningA
There'll be rain there'll be rainC
Very very clearlyB
From the orchardD
Came the gentle horningA
There'll be rainC
But the hasty farmerE
Cut his hay downF
Did not heed the charmerE
From the orchardD
And the mower's clatterE
Ceased at noontideD
For with drip and spatterE
Down came the rainC
Then the prophet robinG
Hidden in the crab treeB
Railed upon the farmerE
I told you so I told you soH
As the rain grew strongerE
And his heart grew prouderE
Notes so full and slowH
Coming blither louderE
I told you so I told you soH
I told you soH
