Enigma Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDDECFGCFDCD

Some men are born to gather women's tearsA
To give a harbour to their timorous fearsB
To take them as the dry earth takes the rainC
As the dark wood the warm wind from the plainC
Yet their own tears remain unshedD
Their own tumultuous fears unsaidD
And seeming steadfast as the forest and the earthE
Shaken are they with painC
They cry for voice as earth might cry for the seaF
Or the wood for consuming fireG
Unanswered they remainC
Subject to the sorrows of women utterlyF
Heart and mindD
Subject as the dry earth to the rainC
Or the dark wood to the windD
