Unknown Ideal Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGHGH IJIJKLKL

Whose is the voice that will not let me restA
I hear it speakB
Where is the shore will gratify my questA
Show what I seekB
Not yours weak Muse to mimic that far voiceC
With halting tongueD
No peace sweet land to bid my heart rejoiceC
Your groves amongD
-
Whose is the loveliness I know is byE
Yet cannot placeF
Is it perfection of the sea or skyE
Or human faceF
Not yours my pencil to delineateG
The splendid smileH
Blind in the sun we struggle on with FateG
That glows the whileH
-
Whose are the feet that pass me echoingI
On unknown waysJ
Whose are the lips that only part to singI
Through all my daysJ
Not yours fond youth to fill mine eager eyesK
Or find that shoreL
That will not let me rest nor satisfiesK
For evermoreL
