Now And Afterwards Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDEDFF FDFDGDGHDD

TWO hands upon the breastA
And labor's doneB
Two pale feet crossed in restA
The race is wonB
Two eyes with coin weights shutC
And all tears ceaseD
Two lips where grief is muteE
Anger at peace'D
So pray we oftentimes mourning our lotF
God in his kindness answereth notF
-
'Two hands to work addrestF
Aye for His praiseD
Two feet that never restF
Walking His waysD
Two eyes that look aboveG
Through all their tearsD
Two lips still breathing loveG
Not wrath nor fear'H
So pray we afterwards low on our kneesD
Pardon those erring prayers Father hear theseD
