My Christian Name Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDA EA AFGFHAIA JKLKMANA OPQPRALA STUTVAIA

MY Christian name my Christian nameA
I never hear it nowB
None have the right to utter itC
'T is lost I scare know howB
My worldly name the world speaks loudD
Thank God for well earned fameA
-
But silence sits at my cold hearthE
I have no household nameA
-
My Christian name my Christian nameA
It has an uncouth soundF
My mother chose it out of thoseG
In Bible pages foundF
Mother whose accents made half sweetH
What else I held in shameA
Dost thou remember up in heavenI
My poor lost Christian nameA
-
Brothers and sisters mockers oftJ
Of the quaint name I boreK
Would I could leap back years to hearL
Ye shout it out once moreK
One speaks it still in written linesM
The last fraternal claimA
But the wide seas between us drownN
Its sound my Christian nameA
-
I had a long dream once Her voiceO
Might breathe the homely wordP
And make it music as love makesQ
Any name said or heardP
O dumb dumb lips O silent heartR
Though it is no ones' blameA
Now while I live I'll never hearL
Her speak my Christian nameA
-
God send her bliss and send me restS
If her white footsteps calmT
Should track my bleeding feet God makeU
To them each blood drop balmT
Peace peace O mother put thou forthV
Thine elder holier claimA
And the first word I hear in heavenI
May be my Christian nameA
