Her Likeness Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAAB CDCCD EDEEF

A GIRL who has so many wilful waysA
She would have caused Job's patience to forsake himB
Yet is so rich in all that's girlhood's praiseA
Did Job himself upon her goodness gazeA
A little better she would surely make himB
-
Yet is this girl I sing in naught uncommonC
And very far from angel yet I trowD
Her faults her sweetnesses are purely humanC
Yet she's more lovable as simple womanC
Than any one diviner that I knowD
-
Therefore I wish that she may safely keepE
This womanhede and change not only growD
From maid to matron youth to age may creepE
And in perennial blessedness still reapE
On every hand of that which she doth sowF
