Dante To Beatrice Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAADDAEEAFFA

I SEE thee gliding towards me with slow paceA
Across the azure fields of ParadiseB
Where thine each footstep makes a star ariseC
So from this heart's once void but infinite spaceA
Each strange sweet touch of thy celestial graceA
In the old mortal life struck out some sparkD
To light the world though all my heaven lay darkD
O Beatrice cypresses enlaceA
My laurels none have grown save tear bedewedE
Salt tears that sank into the earth unviewedE
And sprang up green to form a crown of baysA
Take it At thy dear feet I lay my allF
What men my honors virtues glories callF
I lived loved suffered sung for thy sole praiseA
