A Stream-s Singing Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFDDAGHIJI KALDCJMDNJOIPI OQHBRSTUDOMIMI

O HOW beautiful is MorningA
How the sunbeams strike the daisiesB
And the kingcups fill the meadowC
Like a golden shielded armyD
Marching to the uplands fairE
I am going forth to battleF
And life's uplands rise before meD
And my golden shield is readyD
And I pause a moment timingA
My heart's p an to the watersG
As with cheerful song incessantH
Onwards runs the little streamI
Singing ever onward everJ
Boldly runs the merry streamI
-
O how glorious is Noon dayK
With the cool large shadows lyingA
Underneath the giant forestL
The far hill tops towering dimlyD
O'er the conquered plains belowC
I am conquering I shall conquerJ
In life's battle field impetuousM
And I lie and listen dreamyD
To a double voiced low musicN
Tender beech trees sheeny shiverJ
Mingled with the diapasonO
Of the strong deep joyful streamI
Like a man's love and a woman'sP
So it runs the happy streamI
-
O how grandly cometh EvenO
Sitting on the mountain summitQ
Purple vestured grave and silentH
Watching o'er the dewy valleysB
Like a good king near his endR
I have labored I have governedS
Now I feel the gathering shadowsT
Of the night that closes all thingsU
And the fair earth fades before meD
And the stars leap out in heavenO
While into the infinite darknessM
Solemn runs the steadfast streamI
Onward onward ceaseless fearlessM
Singing runs the eternal streamI
