Over the fence the dead settle inA
for a journey Nine o'clockB
You are alone for the first timeC
today Boys asleep Husband outD

A beer bottle sweats in your handE
and sea lavender clogs the airF
with perfume Think of yourselfG
Your arms rest with nothing to doH

after weeks spent attending to othersI
Your thoughts turn to whetherJ
