Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH| I am leaving earth with little knowledge of it | A |
| without having visited its great cities and lands | B |
| I was here for a moment it seems to praise | C |
| and now that I am leaving I am astounded | D |

| So what does cruelty mean in these circumstance | E |
| and what does triumph empire and domination | F |
| but waves upon the still sea beneath | G |
| And what does failure mean but to sink below | H |
