Dilemma Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEDFGFHIJD

Whatever we do whether we lightA
strangers cigarettes it may turn outB
to be a detective wanting to know who is freeC
with a light on a lonely street nightsD
or whether we turn away and get a knifeE
planted between our shoulders for our discourtesyD
whatever we do whether we marry for loveF
and wake up to find love is a taskG
or whether for convenience to find loveF
must be won over or we are desperateH
whatever we do save by dyingI
and there too we are caughtJ
by being planted too close to our parentsD
