The Tripodal Firestones Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAACD AAEFB AAAGH AACI AAAAJ

Women You are like our tripodal FirestonesA
Blackened by service confined withinB
The ashen heat of your mastersA
Burning with broken promises and matrimonial taboosA
To serrate your body scapeC
With the silent scars of motherhoodD
-
Women you are like our tripodal FirestonesA
Blackened in the mockery of smokesA
To breastfeed the old and the youngE
To endure the heat of the fire of contentmentF
Scorching on your livid black skinB
-
Women You are like our tripodal FirestonesA
Blackened by the blazing fires of their gunsA
That sang the songs of their unsatiated desiresA
To set within you a roomG
Binding you to the ropes of a kitchenH
-
Women You are like our tripodal FirestonesA
Blackened by the saprophytic suckling danceA
Of the fire set within you to cremate your landscapeC
With your own mammary sweatI
-
Women You are like our tripodal FirestonesA
Blackened by the heat of the very gunsA
That left you wailing along the fireplaceA
With the fire of their unquenchable firesA
Combusting your dreams your equalityJ
