Dines in the womb of time demarcated | D |
Soon the Island of liberty will consume itself | E |
And darkness shall mate with time | F |
To blot out the light of the lamp | G |
Meant to lead us through the golden door | H |

From the bone of your poem | I |
I have escaped the sweat at home | J |
To kiss the feet of the mighty woman with the torch | K |
I have wandered the sprawled body of the Sahara | L |
Crossed sand dunes of the lynched | D |
Saw the Mediterranean throw up waxed bones of my forebears | M |
Till I came to Babylon navigating | N |
Through the ocean of my sweat yet here I am | O |
Standing on the heels of broken dreams | P |
With just a wall in between your Colossus and I | A |
