| If it's infatuation I can't spell | B |
| But one thing keeps ringing deep down in me | C |
| That if this is Love then I'm the happiest me | C |

| But please don't forget that I still love you | E |
| When that word love is preached your memory comes to mind anew | E |

| I refuse to accept this as infatuation | G |
| It's vivid it's evident and needs no investigation | G |
