Greek Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEG EHEH BIBI JBJB KLKH MNMN OPOP

A lifeline was given to me at the nick of deathA
I was grateful to God but curiousB
I wondered who sacrificed this breathA
My curiosity led me to a hand that was viciousB
-
Your reception at first was devilishC
My gratitude to you was deepD
You didn't want me to know you're stylishC
We began to fall into Lovers LeapD
-
I gradually began to fall for youE
Your transparency made me fall the moreF
You finally took the keys to my heart to youE
I never knew you were an Iago waiting for the downfall of the MoorG
-
Oh I poured out my heart to youE
I was ready to do all you commandedH
I really loved youE
I never saw the circle of death that surroundedH
-
Your smile was my happinessB
My tears was your greatest delightI
Oh I never knew you were my source of sadnessB
You release wickedness in a speed of lightI
-
I fell into your arms thinking you loved meJ
Only to fall into the hands of BrutusB
I've always thought you love meJ
An Othello I am an Iago were you in statusB
-
Love is transparent and without betrayalK
Love is sincere and highly respectedL
But your hand of fellowship needs no appraisalK
cause you never loved me as expectedH
-
Your sacrifice was designed to pull me downM
The time we spent was for you to break me behindN
Your aim was to empty my pocket and remove my crownM
I never knew this I thought I saw love in your mindN
-
Through your Judas like terrible styleO
You've made me not to believe in loveP
I'm now resting in loneliness fileO
Instead of being in a pit called Greek LoveP
