AN ODE TO POETRYA
-
Older than the ones afterB
More beautiful are your clusterB
You teach me the only way to catharsisC
Penning down everything in meiosisC
-
Today the world respects youD
Thy inspiration and the honor that is due youD
In criticism correction exposition and ecstasyA
You've finally become my fantasyA
-
I thought thee to be a hard nutE
But thy exposition has tied us with a knotF
Keeping me under thy tutorshipG
Oh Thy beauty is worth the worshipG
-
In parables sometimes thou art writtenH
To confuse the amateur with meanings hiddenH
Thy love is in between my knees I confessI
You've given me this prowessC
