Picking up my pen this eveningA
With an overburdened sad heart deepeningA
My heart rent into two by man's attitudeB
My face lost its normal sanctitudeB
-
Marriage is meant to beget a homeC
This I know without going to RomeC
But my heart bleeds as I look at thingsD
At the peripheral of situations which causes my eyes to singA
-
Godly homes exist this I doubt notB
Love alone can cleanse a dark spotB
In how many homes does love liveE
Or are we just a bunch of religious fanatics in hypocrisies hiveE
-
Does our children see thisF
Or are our homes now a place where cry isG
Where our children don't want to stayB
Even with your wife do you playB
-
I look at my background and I cryH
Sometimes in a bid to shove away I flyH
Love missing at every turnI
Sorrow filling my weak heart and making me taciturnI
-
From my Genesis I saw no loveJ
Except for the breasts that gave me loveJ
Husbands please I kneel and pleadB
Love your wives and let that love leadB
-
Our homes is now filled with distrustB
Our husbands now possess love with rustB
Conscience sealed harder than rocksK
Deaf to the cries of their children even when they knockL
-
Love and unity are sacked by hypocrisyM
The weaker vessel in a bid to understand your devilish self democracyM
Are now stained with your dirt of hatredB
That smiling angel has now become a gloomy sacredB
-
I delight not in the handsomeness of a manN
When love doesn't live in him he's not my fanN
I delight not in the bank account of a PrinceO
When love has been caged and dusty without even a rinseO
-
I delight not in the Big Bible you haveP
Not in your much preachings with starveQ
When your heart is the seat of wickednessR
Your conscience has been buried in its dreadednessR
-
I delight not in your dirty philanthropyM
That God doesn't even recognize as a trophyM
When your family is starving and lives in povertys punishmentB
You make a good name outside only walking in self righteous pavementB
-
I plead with all young men and womenS
Please allow love not money not wickedness not lust nor treasures rumenS
Let love come alive once again in our homesR
I plead on bended knees out of my cry for love in our homesR
