A Cry For Freedom Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCAA DDEF GGHI JJKK LLMM NOPP MMLL

I was born in sinA
Caged and held tight by its pinA
But I was oblivious of thisB
When I'm ruled by my fleshly blissB
-
I sought my praiseC
Exalting myself and the worldly raiseC
But held in the cage of sinA
I was revolving around its spinA
-
I took the garment of self righteousnessD
But my Achilles heel held me in its steadfastnessD
Yes everyone has an Achilles heelE
But I know God can change it stillF
-
I desired the things that are hiddenG
I love to see the dirty pictures of natures forbiddenG
I thought morality could break me looseH
I never knew I was still in its shoesI
-
I fasted and prayedJ
Yet the stain still stayedJ
I held personal vigils with cryingK
Yet in all that I haven't started tryingK
-
I thought I had overcomeL
But after some weeks I'm found in its pit how comeL
I thought I was freeM
Now I know I'm still bound by its keyM
-
I emptied my bucket of personal effortsN
All in a bid to be the person I'd wished to be in victory's fortsO
Weak and pale I looked like a tailP
I lay helplessly on the ground of captivity looking staleP
-
Lord please I plead for MercyM
I know I'm not fit but please remember me and forgive my hypocrisyM
Set me loose for I'm weak and tired tied up in deaths kingdomL
Oh Dear Lord hear my cry for FreedomL
