Freedom struck my heart in despair
when all I got was my hands in the air.
My heart is damaged beyond repair
by evil and evil wrapped in pair.
Raw and refined evil on every side,
my conscience couldn't hide.
The path I tread is wide,
where good scarcely abide.
I'm a free man in crisis,
in the constant presence of nemesis.
'Absolute freedom' is my thesis,
but I'm ignorant of the basis.
In my head I'm flawless
but my actions spell 'lawless'.
I'm a predator though jawless
yet I'm never found clawless.
I caused inferno without a burning flame,
with my deeds I tortured souls without shame.
Yes, call me dump and lame
I deserve awful names and blame.
My freedom came at a heavy cost,
when slavery volunteered to be my host.
I'm confused and lost,
tired and alone in my inmost.
I need help to come to my right senses
no matter the consequences or recompenses.
My freedom brought struggles and offenses,
but I'm ready to part ways with freedom and pretenses.
