Is one of us having an affair | E |
At first we laugh and then we wonder | C |

enshrouded in its sickly sweet | G |
and lingering perfume The roses | H |
fell one petal at a time | I |
and now the ferns are turning dry | F |
The room smells like a funeral | J |
but there they sit too much at home | K |
accusing us of some small crime | I |
like love forgotten and we can't | L |
throw out a gift we've never owned | M |
