Winter-lull Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACA DEDED FGFGF HHHHH

Because of the silent snow we are all hushedA
Into aweB
No sound of guns nor overhead no rushedA
Vibration to drawC
Our attention out of the void wherein we are crushedA
-
A crow floats past on level wingsD
NoiselesslyE
Uninterrupted silence swingsD
Invisibly inaudiblyE
To and fro in our misgivingsD
-
We do not look at each other we hideF
Our daunted eyesG
White earth and ruins ourselves and nothing besideF
It all beliesG
Our existence we wait and are still deniedF
-
We are folded together men and the snowy groundH
Into nullityH
There is silence only the silence never a soundH
Nor a verityH
To assist us disastrously silence boundH
