Submergence Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCADC EFGECG AA

When along the pavementA
Palpitating flames of lifeB
People flicker round meC
I forget my bereavementA
The gap in the great constellationD
The place where a star used to beC
-
Nay though the pole starE
Is blown out like a candleF
And all the heavens are wandering in disarrayG
Yet when pleiads of people areE
Deployed around me and I seeC
The street's long outstretched Milky WayG
-
When people flicker down the pavementA
I forget my bereavementA
