Silence Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH IJIJ

Since I lost you I am silence hauntedA
Sounds wave their little wingsB
A moment then in weariness settleC
On the flood that soundless swingsB
-
Whether the people in the streetD
Like pattering ripples go byE
Or whether the theatre sighs and sighsF
With a loud hoarse sighE
-
Or the wind shakes a ravel of lightG
Over the dead black riverH
Or night's last echoingI
Makes the daybreak shiverH
-
I feel the silence waitingI
To take them all up againJ
In its vast completeness enfoldingI
The sound of menJ
