New Year's Eve Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DED FGF HFH FFF

There are only two things nowA
The great black night scooped outB
And this fire glowC
-
This fire glow the coreD
And we the two ripe pipsE
That are held in storeD
-
Listen the darkness ringsF
As it circulates round our fireG
Take off your thingsF
-
Your shoulders your bruised throatH
Your breasts your nakednessF
This fiery coatH
-
As the darkness flickers and dipsF
As the firelight falls and leapsF
From your feet to your lipsF
