First Morning Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A B CDEFFEED GHEIJKKEE C

The night was a failure but why notA
-
In the darkness with the pale dawn seething at the window through the black frame I could not be free not free myself from the past those others and our love was a confusion there was a horror you recoiled away from meB
-
Now in the morningC
As we sit in the sunshine on the seat by the little shrineD
And look at the mountain wallsE
Walls of blue shadowF
And see so near at our feet in the meadowF
Myriads of dandelion pappusE
Bubbles ravelled in the dark green grassE
Held still beneath the sunshineD
-
It is enough you are nearG
The mountains are balancedH
The dandelion seeds stay half submerged in the grassE
You and I togetherI
We hold them proud and blitheJ
On our loveK
They stand upright on our loveK
Everything starts from usE
We are the sourceE
