The town has opened to the sunA
Like a flat red lily with a million petalsB
She unfolds she comes undoneA
-
A sharp sky brushes uponC
The myriad glittering chimney tipsD
As she gently exhales to the sunA
-
Hurrying creatures runA
Down the labyrinth of the sinister flowerE
What is it they shunA
-
A dark bird falls from the sunA
It curves in a rush to the heart of the vastF
Flower the day has begunA
