| Without a break I'm nothing but a shell | A |
| I need a break from the screams in my head | B |
| Anything to get away from the lies I was fed | B |

| Will anyone care to see the girl who stayed up past twelve | C |
| No that's is a matter of which they don't want to delve | C |
| My memories haunt me at night | D |
| My only wish is that I'd just give up the fight | D |

| Simple lines bring back simple times | E |
| A simple enough task to make these words rhyme | F |
| Simple as they may be they speak freely for me | G |
| Under the cover of night my mind is free | G |

| Sleep scares me and so does my mind | H |
| Because when I try rest I feel so blind | H |
| Say what you want believe what you might | D |
| But I'm not going to be there to say I was right | D |

| Its gotten late two hours ago my eyes hurt | I |
| But its better than reminiscing painful conversations short and curt | I |
| My mouth is bitten raw blood flows like water | J |
| So this is what has become of your sweet daughter | J |

| Watch me wither away I refuse to rest | K |
| No matter how many say its for the best | K |
| Look closely and then you'll see | G |
| The self love that I had is deeply asleep | L |

| I'm still awake expect the worst | M |
| I'm beggining to thing I'm cursed | M |
| The clock on the wall is ticking away | N |
| Its becoming harder to pretend I'm okay | N |
