Their Beginning Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHI

Their illicit pleasure has been fulfilledA
They get up and dress quickly without a wordB
They come out of the house separately furtivelyC
and as they move off down the street a bit unsettledD
it seems they sense that something about them betraysE
what kind of bed they've just been lying onF
But what profit for the life of the artistG
tomorrow the day after or years later he'll give voiceH
to the strong lines that had their beginning hereI
