Nero was not worried when he heardA
the prophecy of the Delphic OracleB
Let him fear the seventy three yearsC
He still had ample time to enjoy himselfD
He is thirty More than sufficientE
is the term the god allots himF
to prepare for future perilsG

Now he will return to Rome slightly tiredA
but delightfully tired from this journeyH
full of days of enjoymentE
at the theaters the gardens the gymnasiaI
evenings at cities of AchaiaI
Ah the delight of nude bodies above allJ

Thus fared Nero And in Spain GalbaK
secretly assembles and drills his armyH
the old man of seventy threeH
