Ionic Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEDFGHI

That we've broken their statuesA
that we've driven them out of their templesB
doesn't mean at all that the gods are deadC
O land of Ionia they're still in love with youD
their souls still keep your memoryE
When an August dawn wakes over youD
your atmosphere is potent with their lifeF
and sometimes a young ethereal figureG
indistinct in rapid flightH
wings across your hillsI
