In A Town Of Osroini Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDBEE

Yesterday around midnight they brought us our friend RemonA
who'd been wounded in a taverna fightB
Through the windows we left wide openA
the moon cast light over his beautiful body as it lay on the bedC
We're a mixture here Syrians immigrant Greeks Armenians MedesD
Remon is one of these too But last nightB
when the moon shone on his sensual faceE
our thoughts went back to Plato's CharmidisE
