Hidden Things Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHEIEEEE| Let them not seek to discover who I was | A |
| from all that I have done and said | B |
| An obstacle was there that transformed | C |
| the deeds and the manner of my life | D |
| An obstacle was there that stopped me | E |
| many times when I was about to speak | F |
| Only from my most imperceptible deeds | G |
| and my most covert writings | H |
| from these alone will they understand me | E |
| But perhaps it isn't worth exerting | I |
| such care and such effort for them to know me | E |
| Later in the more perfect society | E |
| surely some other person created like me | E |
| will appear and act freely | E |
