| let them not seek to find who I've been | B |
| An obstacle stood and transformed | C |
| my acts and way of my life | D |
| An obstacle stood and stopped me | E |
| many a time as I was going to speak | F |
| My most unobserved acts | G |
| and my writitings the most covered | H |
| thence only they will feel me | E |
| But mayhaps it is not worth to spend | I |
| this much care and this much effort to know me | E |
| For in the more perfect society | E |
