Improvisations: Light And Snow: 08 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFAGCHIJKLMNOPQ

Many things perplex me and leave me troubledA
Many things are locked away in the white book of starsB
Never to be opened by meC
The starr d leaves are silently turnedD
And the mooned leavesE
And as they are turned fall the shadows of life and deathF
Perplexed and troubledA
I light a small light in a small roomG
The lighted walls come closer to meC
The familiar pictures are clearH
I sit in my favourite chair and turn in my mindI
The tiny pages of my own life whereon so little is writtenJ
And hear at the eastern window the pressure of a long wind comingK
From I know not whereL
How many times have I sat hereM
How many times will I sit here againN
Thinking these same things over and over in solitudeO
As a child says over and overP
The first word he has learned to sayQ
