Improvisations: Light And Snow: 03 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGGGHGIAJKFLGG

The first bell is silverA
And breathing darkness I think only of the long scythe of timeB
The second bell is crimsonC
And I think of a holiday night with rocketsD
Furrowing the sky with red and a soft shatter of starsE
The third bell is saffron and slowF
And I behold a long sunset over the seaG
With wall on wall of castled cloud and glittering balustradesG
The fourth bell is color of bronzeG
I walk by a frozen lake in the dun light of duskH
Muffled crackings run in the iceG
Trees creak birds flyI
The fifth bell is cold clear azureA
Delicately tinged with greenJ
One golden star hangs melting in itK
And towards this sleepily I goF
The sixth bell is as if a pebbleL
Had been dropped into a deep sea far above meG
Rings of sound ebb slowly into the silenceG
