Improvisations: Light And Snow: 02 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDEFG

I stood for a long while before the shop windowA
Looking at the blue butterflies embroidered on tawny silkB
The building was a tower before meC
Time was loud behind meC
Sun went over the housetops and dusty treesD
And there they were glistening brilliant motionlessE
Stitched in a golden skyF
By yellow patient fingers long since turned to dustG
