Evening Song Of Senlin Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHIH BJKJ LMNM OPQPRSTS UVWVQXBX

It is moonlight Alone in the silenceA
I ascend my stairs once moreB
While waves remote in a pale blue starlightC
Crash on a white sand shoreB
It is moonlight The garden is silentD
I stand in my room aloneE
Across my wall from the far off moonF
A rain of fire is thrownE
-
There are houses hanging above the starsG
And stars hung under a seaH
And a wind from the long blue vault of timeI
Waves my curtain for meH
-
I wait in the dark once moreB
Swung between space and spaceJ
Before my mirror I lift my handsK
And face my remembered faceJ
-
Is it I who stand in a question hereL
Asking to know my nameM
It is I yet I know not whither I goN
Nor why nor whence I cameM
-
It is I who awoke at dawnO
And arose and descended the stairP
Conceiving a god in the eye of the sunQ
In a woman's hands and hairP
It is I whose flesh is gray with the stonesR
I builded into a wallS
With a mournful melody in my brainT
Of a tune I cannot recallS
-
There are roses to kiss and mouths to kissU
And the sharp pained shadow of deathV
I remember a rain drop on my cheekW
A wind like a fragrant breathV
And the star I laugh on tilts through heavenQ
And the heavens are dark and steepX
I will forget these things once moreB
In the silence of sleepX
