| Like some monstrous segmented insect | C |
| the radiator elongates under the window | D |

| Or it is a beast with many shoulders | E |
| domesticated in the Ice Age | F |
| How many years it takes | G |
| to move from room to room | H |

| Some cage their radiators | E |
| but this is unnecessary | I |
| as they have little desire to escape | J |

| Like turtles they are quite self contained | K |
| If they seem sad it is only the same sadness | L |
| we all feel unlovely growing slowly cold | M |
