| and slowly day by day | I |
| the flower itself entered our world | J |

| closed like hands that captured a moth | K |
| then open as eyes open | L |
| and the amaryllis seeing us | M |
| was somehow undiscouraged | J |
| It stands before us now | N |

| you pour a little of your drinking water | P |
