Winter Moonlight (the) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDDC EFFE

The silence of the silver nightA
Lies visibly upon the pinesB
In marble tame the moon declinesB
Where spectral mountains dream in lightA
-
And pale as with eternal sleepC
The enchanted valleys far and strangeD
Extend for ever without changeD
Beneath the veiling splendors deepC
-
Carven of steel or fretted stoneE
One stark and leafless autumn treeF
With shadows made of ebonyF
Leans on the moon ward field aloneE
