Before the hill's high altar bowedA
The trees are Druids weird and whiteB
Facing the vision of the lightB
With ancient lips to silence vowedA

No certain sound the woods averC
Nor motion save of formless wingsD
Filled with phantasmal flutteringsD
With thronging gloom and shadow stirC
-
Unseen unheard amid the dellE
Lie all the winds that mantic treesD
Have lulled with crystal warlockriesD
And bound about with Merlin spellE
