Touch Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDCEEFEGH

In touching youA
My hands have known the savor of delightB
As the mouth knows the savor of sweet fruitC
And in your flesh my hands have seemed to hearD
A melody that pulsed and pulsedC
Even as the melody of dulcimersE
Yea to my handsE
Your flesh has breathed the perfume of its beingF
Has sighed a secret essenceE
Has given forth its immanent mysteryG
To mingle with the mystery of mineH
