To Whom It May Concern Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDED FEDEGHI

Your soul is a dead chicken lying on a city dumpA
Inert and limp and sprawlingB
Amid a rotten chaos of inassortable remnantsC
Of rain soaked whisky cartons and soiled brassieres and worn out tires and Sunday suits full of defunct mothsD
And maybe a blue box or twoE
Labeled KotexD
-
Pegasus will shun your proximityF
All the golden wyverns will avoid youE
Veering to other skies and more savory systemsD
And hippogriffs will never come to nuzzle youE
With purple spotted noses of nacarat and cyanineG
Even the ghouls will sniff and pass you byH
But rats will comeI
