The Unrevealed Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBA ACDCAD

How dense the glooms of Death imperviousA
To aught of old memorial light How straitB
The sunless road suspended separateB
That leads to later birth UntremulousA
With any secret morn of stars to usA
The Past is closed as with division greatB
Of planet girdling seas unknown its gateB
Beyond the mouths of shadows cavernousA
-
Oh may it be that Death in kindness stripsA
The soul of memory's raiment rendering blindC
Our vision lest surmounted deeps appalD
As when on mountain peaks a glance behindC
Betrays with knowledge and the climber slipsA
Down gulfs of fear to some enormous fallD
