The Tartarus Of The Suns Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDCEF GHIJCJ

Beyond the orbit of the farthest sunA
A desert darkness lies immeasured nightB
That knows nor eve nor dawn where only driftC
Dethroned and aimless suns and worlds unlitC
Thereto are cast the disenabled starsD
Like those great Titans that high Zeus hurledC
By will supreme from the Olympian peakE
To Tartarus the nadir of all spaceF
-
Discarded dust and cinders of the PlanG
Darkened and chill they haunt the silent gloomH
And wait their brothers suns that reign afarI
Till these shall come with all their subject worldsJ
Whose dust hath dreamed of ImmortalityC
And Night succeed unto their flaming thronesJ
